It’s All About The Keywords!
Wow, if you are looking to build a website today there is information overload about what you should and should not do. I am lucky enough or good enough at my job to have found the perfect SEO job for myself. Most people never make the leap and end up unemployment within a few months because of trying to sort out the information on the internet. I know how it is, trying to figure out how to get found on the search engines with so many sites and how you are supposed to write good content for people.
My question for you is this; “If you were able to get the job you wouldn’t have time to do your own search engine optimization would you?”
The real reason that most people don’t take the time to do their own search engine optimization is because they are lazy and don’t like taking the time to learn. Also, the last thing that you want to do is to spend 4 or 5 hours a day trying to write content for other people when you can have some spare time working on your own site and getting it found!
I recently met with a client and he told me his site was getting listed on Google. I was happy for him because I knew that was going to happen eventually. He asked me what his best keywords would be to get the site found. I explained that his site was in an industry that was quite competitive and there were other sites with better PR that linked to his site. He asked me to rename the page the deem to him “having PR difficulty 5”. That was actually easy to do and we got this page indexed pretty quickly.
Now I’m not saying that this particular client went out and generate loads of content just because we needed to rewrite the page. He actually went out and got 20 unique articles written by other authors just for the site. He stated to me that it would take about another 3 months to get this site fully indexed on all the engines. The searchengines were actually ahead of this.
I just basically repeated the process that I usually do and submit them to hungrywebpages, articlecomputers, ezinearticles, goarticles and bizwhy.com. In addition, I would get offers from a few webmasters to buy the articles and I do use a few different ad Networks.
Now I’m not saying that article marketing is better than search engine marketing. I just like the whole process of article marketing and the great thing is that it is something that I can do on a very large scale and it is something that keeps on bringing back results.
The only problem is this is very time consuming and it can be quite tedious too. I would just like to raise awareness that it is possible to do this and it just takes time.
There is some software that I use to take care of some of the tedious stuff. This software distills this process for me. It will find source code for you and then it will tell you how many PR’s you need to get to the first page. It will tell you if there are more than 3 PR’s and it will let you know how much it costs to buy them. Then you can put it in your ad and get the real information and price so that you can finalize if this is the right move for you.
It takes too long to do is this the best way to get the exposure you deserve? If yes then you need to get started as soon as possible. I hope this short article had helped you to process what is the best move for you to make.
by TAGGING SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION shouldn’t you be spending as much time tweaking PR and back links?
